Dubai

I’ve made it to Dubai.

It was a slight rush because it seemed to take forever to get the walk ways attached to the plane and then I had to navigate Dubai airport, including getting a train to a separate terminal. I made it though, and was on the first bus to the plane.

Can we also discuss, Emirates have business class buses too. Do all airlines do this and I’ve just never noticed? How weird but also I suppose you don’t want to be crammed into a bus stood up with the likes of me if you’re paying for business or first class seats! That’s the dream, business class flights, because I can probably only wish for first class but I feel like business could be an achievable dream at least once in my life!

I wish I could have taken in more of the airport, it was huge. There were huge waterfall feature that I thought went from ceiling to floor but actually, the ceiling went higher. It’s absolute madness. My layover on the way back is a little longer which is good, maybe I can do a big more exploring. I think I’d love to come on holiday to Dubai, I’m so intrigued by it.

So this flight is longer but I’ve got one or two movies to watch and if not, a whole folder of Harry Potter movies! I’m really praying that no one is sat next to me on this flight because I got such a stiff neck on my last flight that I’d love to spread out across 2 seats and this plane is definitely smaller than the last but that’s not a bad thing. I just feel like there’s a lot of empty seats around so maybe there’s another bus coming, what if this seat next to me gets filled. If so, RIP my neck.

See you in Bali!

There’s WiFi on my plane

I couldn’t get it to connect on my first flight but I’m doing ok on this one. No one is sat next to me so I’ve been spreading out but the people in front of me have reclined their seats a lot to sleep….. guys you’ve got to stay awake on this flight (which is proving really difficult tbf).
